Beginning of AP Gov

So far in AP gov we have done various things. One of those is taking the Political typology quiz and also the modern political news quiz. Those helped us realize how the young generation we are part of has distanced from politics while the older adults have grown closer, greatly changing the results of votes. The article on Most/Religious states shows that the south eastern states are the most religious, while the Northern and Eastern states tend to be the least religious. The interviewers found the data for that by interviewing people which could be inaccurate due to people not telling the truth. The people might be lying due to their location. For example in Vermont you would be shamed less to be unreligious as compared to in Alabama where one might be dissed for being nonreligious. Political scientist could be interested in this because the data could show the areas where more elderly live due to the elderly staying religious while more and more young people stray from religion. The religious data could show how the conservative side of politics is going to be losing ground as the appeal more to the religious side, which is shrinking. While the liberal side will be growing due to the nonreligious percent growing which supports the liberals.
